Parent's 40th Anniversary Weekend!

So all my siblings and their spouses got together this last weekend and surprised my parents for their 40th Anniversary! Every friday night my parents go to the temple together, so we all thought that would be the perfect place to surprise them! We all hid in front of the Newport Beach temple! So fun! They were super surprised! We all went into the temple together to do sealings and it was so amazing, the spirit was so strong and it was fun to be there with all ten kids and their spouses!
Thanks Mom and Dad for making it to 40 years, let's do it again for the 50th!!!

We were all lined up from youngest to oldest!
This is right when my parents saw us!

Then all day saturday was beach day!! The Earnest family loves nothing more than beach volleyball and beach time!

My amazing BYU Men's Volleyball star husband (he's retired though) :)

Bezza time!!

After the beach all day we went to John's Fish Market in Dana point Harbor because it is Earnest tradition, best fish tacos ever!!!

Our Boys Did IT!! GO LAKERS!!! 2010 World Champs!

They did it!! After a long hard season and long hard playoffs our boys did it!! I don't usually mention teams that I follow on my blog because I don't want to risk it, you know, knock on wood and all!! But now that they have won I can rejoice!!!! Nice job Lakers!!! You scared us for a while there... being down the whole game and Kobe struggling offensively... but you pulled it off!! Now I can enjoy my summer!!!!! Can't wait until next year! 3-peat anyone????

I'm so excited!!!

So, as most of you know, Brian is selling home security this summer... I know it's crazy!! But he has been in Denver selling this week, staying with my sister Rachel and her family, and doing really well! So now every weekend until I'm done with my summer term classes I am meeting him out there!! Well, today is a fun day because I get to go see my hubby!!! And since it's a holiday weekend and I don't have class on monday I get to stay even longer!! I am so excited! I miss him so much!! I know we're learning a lot from these new experiences which I am grateful for. We also are blessed that my sister is letting us stay with her for so long! I can't wait to be there for even longer just to hang out with her too!!!! Yay!! COLORADO!!!

I love this boy!!

Sister's Weekend

Last weekend I was able to attend Women's Conference, it was planned as a Earnest girls weekend, but Mary, Amanda, and my Mom couldn't make it :( It was still super fun though to go to all the talks on BYU Campus and feel the spirit there. It really gave me great peace knowing Brian will start Law school there in the fall. It truly is a great school and we are lucky for the experiences we will have.

Elder Oaks, and his wife were the closing ceremonies speakers. He is so awesome! My picture is fuzzy but the other pictures were a little too dark... So deal with it! he he
Spencer's (g/f) Amy, we went up to Cheesecake Factory on Friday night, lot's of fun. Great food!

My little Ballerina Niece

My niece Sarah performed in, Hansel & Gretel, a ballet over this last weekend. She was a cotton candy and came out onto stage with the Witch! She is such an amazing ballerina, so graceful! I could never do half of the things she does with her tiny little body, ballet is incredible! Seeing this show put a strong desire in me to see another ballet. I love my niece, she is such an amazing girl and is truly very talented!

Sarah and Aaron performed at the end of the show doing a daddy/daughter dance, I don't think there was a dry eye in the building

The gang at the show! (Spencer, Amy, (Spencer's awesome girlfriend) Me, Brian, Brody, Jackie, Luke, and the ballerina!

Blue skies of Hawaii smiled...

Where to start... Kauai was unreal! We went with Brian's father Joel, step-mother Stef, Rob, and two half-sisters, Natalie and Sarah. They treated us right! We stayed in the beautiful Marriott in Poipu, Kauai. It was so amazing! We ate great food, laughed a lot, got some sun, and made some awesome memories that will last a life time! (It goes without saying that it was amazing to go from the snow to the sun in less than 5 hours on a plane ride!)

Carry on baggage... lots and lots of it (heading to Kauai)
After dinner one night... Brian picked the plumeria's out of a tree for all the girls... that has got to be one of the best smelling flowers on the planet!
After church on Sunday, this was a waterfall on the hotel grounds... ya it was amazing!
Brian's family ( Joel, Stef, Rob, Natalie, and Sarah)
The happy couple! (they couldn't wait to be blogged!)
We went on a Zodiac boat trip, the fast boats that jump waves! It was awesome! We saw humpback wales, dolphins, and plenty of sea turtles! It was way rad!
Our boat ride went all the way to the Napali Coast of Kauai which was so beautiful, it is where the filmed Jurassic Park! And seeing it first hand made me realize why! It was beyond beautiful. The water is so green and then so blue and perfect! It takes your breath away!
We had many exhausting days! Just the girls in the back totally OUT!
Also on our boat ride! Look at the perfection of the water!
Our last night :( not fun to be done with that amazing trip... If anyone noticed about the pictures we all got progressively more red as the days wore on! Just a little fun thing to notice!
